Collective Dialect is a rising hip-hop duo from NC that has just released their newest single/video, titled "Slow the Pace."

They draw influence from reggae and island music, and fuse it with hip-hop to create their own special flavor music that I think is pretty funky. It's produced by member SomeGuyTy, who mixes some great guitar pluckings with some chill, laidback vibes to give this song the island feel. The video itself is great too, and shows these guys in a natural, fun-loving light. Honestly, this song kinda reminds me of those classic 90s jams you'd always hear in the summertime; just a smooth, relaxing tune. Look forward to hearing more from these guys.

Listen and watch "Slow the Pace" above!
